An intensive course in physical theatre which reveals the necessary skill set a modern-day physical comedian must have. Lead by couple Gordon White and Elaine Brewer-White -
Gordon has appeared as a lead clown performer for Cirque du Soliel for over 10 years and is currently featured in Cirque's new NYC based vaudeville show: Banana Shpeel.
Elaine is head facilitator for the corporate entertainment company, The Comedy Factory, and has taught improv and clowning workshops across North America.
This course is geared to grooming potential candidates for Cirque du Soleil auditions to be held in Vancouver in late spring of 2010. Cirque du Soleil is currently casting for a multitude of clowning roles in shows featured from Vegas to Japan.
January 17 is a rare opportunity to work with both instructors in an rigorous 5 hour program.
March 14 is a follow-up workshop with Elaine to review audition material and polish presentation skills.

ONE DAY VOICE OVER WORKSHOP

This popular 3-hour workshop covers the three main types of voiceover employment currently happening in Vancouver: Commercials, Narration and Animation. There is also a discussion of the "business" of voiceovers which includes the topics of demos, agents, home studios and more. It's fun and informative! So come put on the headphones, step up to the microphone and let voiceover professional Robin Douglas introduce you to the world of voiceovers.
